Meanwhile, teams will be facing off inside Sprint Center, for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship. Known as one of the most exciting sporting events in Kansas City, it’s going to be an awesome week.
The Big 12 is one of the top basketball conferences in the nation. The tournament decides who is crowned as the champion of the league. The Big 12 only has 10 teams right now, and every one of those 10 teams gets to play in the Big 12 Tournament, giving each team a chance to win the Big 12 Championship and receive an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. Tournament play in college basketball is the most exciting brand of hoops you’ll see, as teams compete in hopes of creating a memorable moment in their program’s history. This year the action should be incredible as the best teams in the Big 12 vie for the coveted conference championship.
